Steve Vitoff, who has been a Huntington resident for 21 years, has extensive experience in community organizing, state government, and the private sector. He served as Public Affairs Director for the precursor agency to Empire State Development, New York State’s economic development division. He was awarded the Big Apple Award from the Public Relations Society of America in his capacity as Senior Vice President for a major New York City public relations agency. He is active in community affairs in Huntington and is a member of the Long Island Housing Coalition.
